ROBIN. by Zoë Allard
She comes to visit me
Every morning when I wake up
She dances on the patio
Like she did when we were young
It took me a long time to notice
And I didn’t want to believe
That instead of going to heaven
She would rather stay with me
I watch her fly away now
But there is no goodbye
As she’ll return tomorrow
At exactly the same time
It gives me such comfort
That she will never go
Because she returned in feathers
So she could watch me grow.
Wow! That is a beautiful poem 😊
