A Stack Of Haikus

As you may or may not know already, I fancy myself a bit of an aspiring poet and writer.

It’s been a while since I did some poetry posts but recently I’ve been focusing on myself a bit more and self-care and jumping back on the writing band wagon.

In light of this, here is a hand full of Haikus I wrote. Enjoy.

Your lips touching mine,

Underneath a thousand stars

My kind of romance

The tweets of the birds,

From morning through to night,

That sound brings me peace.

Please don’t look to me

For all your expectancies

I’ll do this alone.

The leaves may be green

With the promises of spring

But Autumn’s my home.

Hope you enjoyed my latest little scribbles. I promise to bring more poetry pieces soon in between some of my general posts 🙂
